Let’s get pumped for Soccer! ACES Soccer social group is a great way for clients of all ages to learn the skills to play soccer while using the methodologies of ABA. We will focus on learning the basics of the game as well as working on the other skills like waiting, friendship-making, turn-taking and much more. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to target social skills and individualized goals in a novel, fun, and active way!
Children will have the opportunity to participate in an outdoor sport and parents will have the opportunity to explore their children’s interest in soccer. Children will learn and practice soccer skills as well as practice requesting to peers, following group instructions, and safety skill in the community.
When: Starting 9/11/2023 thru 10/2/2023, every Monday from 3:30-6:30 PM PST.
What to Bring: For safety, it is highly recommended you ensure clients please bring a snack and water as well as wear closed-toe shoes and sunblock.

The 6 week series is geared towards kids who love computer games and need some extra practice building friendships. ACES clients will target social skills and practice making friends through fun and interactive Minecraft games.
Prerequisite Skills for Participants:
- Meet ACES Focused Group Pre-Requisites
- Can follow multi-step instructions on the computer
- Sits at computer for at least 50 minutes without attempts to leave
- Has basic computer skills (e.g. how to simultaneously use a mouse with one hand while navigating with the WASD keys with the other, how to identify keys and and buttons by reading what they say, etc.)
Other Prerequisites
- Computer running Windows 10 or a recent release of OSX.
- Purchased and installed Minecraft Java edition.
- Access to a stable consumer level broadband internet connection
- Permissions to override anything that prevents MC and web conferencing.
- Has access to headphones, microphone, and a webcam.
- Has an adult available to supervise the child during the sessions and help when needed

Adolescent Health Series is designed to educate students with autism and related disabilities on relationships, their changing bodies, cyber safety, health, and nutrition.

Join us for a ROARING good time at ACES Dinosaur Diggers event. Open your mouth and let out a ROAR and come party at ACES like a dinosaur. Stomp on over to come and play as we celebrate ACES Dinosaur Diggers Day! It’s going to be DINO-MITE.
Open ACES is a clinic-based program for clients of all ages and abilities to come to our clinic to socialize, play, and engage in thematic curriculum that promotes learning and new experiences. Check with your funding source or supervisor to see if your child is eligible to attend clinic-based programs. Parents do not need to stay but are welcomed with a Supervisor present. Clients should bring a snack.
Open ACES provides a new opportunity for your child to:
- Socialize with peers
- Generalize mastered skills
- Experience peer modeling from typical peer models!!
- Be exposed to novel stimuli to keep them engaged in their ABA therapy (motivation is everything)
- Build rapport with newer BI’s by pairing them with a fun experience at ACES
- Get extra support from various professionals who attend Open ACES
Speak to your supervisor for specific times in your local office and let your supervisor know if you would like to attend this fun event or if you have any questions.
**Please note, if your child already attends a group in the clinic on Saturdays, they will have access to the Open ACES event activities.

Do you want to learn a new skill or continue practicing one you’ve already learned? This Saturday we are focusing on games and activities you’ll play when you go to Pumpkin Patch! Come join us to get some practice before you head out to a Pumpkin Patch with your family.
Bring your own pumpkin to decorate! Please note: We will not be carving pumpkins.

This Virtual CIP event will be held at two different time slots:
- 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. pst
- 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. pst
Our virtual Disneyland visit will allow kids to ride virtual rides, watch a parade, and enjoy Disneyland with our peers.
During the visit, your child will have a chance to ask questions and participate in several social opportunities. We look forward to seeing you and feel free to wear your favorite Disney costume!

In this 6 week series, clients will learn everything they need to know to code their very own game: character development, storyboarding, animation, environment and level design, beta testing and, of course, coding! Kids will code games, websites and more. They learn how computers work, exercise creativity by coming up with ideas for how their project will look and feel, and build resilience and perseverance when trouble-shooting their code.
Skills Learned: Resilience, Confidence, Internet Safety, Logic, Game Design, Beta-Testing
Prerequisite Skills for Participants:
- Meet ACES Focused Group Pre-Requisites
- Can follow multi-step instructions on the computer
- Sits at computer for at least 50 minutes without attempts to leave
- Has basic computer skills (e.g. how to simultaneously use a mouse with one hand while navigating with the WASD keys with the other, how to identify keys and and buttons by reading what they say, etc.)
Other Prerequisites
- Computer running Windows 10 or a recent release of OSX.
- Chrome browser.
- Access to a stable consumer level broadband internet connection
- Permissions to override anything that prevents web conferencing.
- Has access to headphones, microphone, and a webcam.
