Let’s get pumped for Basketball! ACES Basketball social group is a great way for clients of all ages to learn the skills to play basketball while using the methodologies of ABA. We will focus on learning the basics of the game as well as working on the other skills like waiting, friendship-making, turn-taking and much more. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to target social skills and individualized goals in a novel, fun, and active way!
Children will have the opportunity to participate in an outdoor sport and parents will have the opportunity to explore their children’s interest in basketball. Children will learn and practice basketball skills as well as practice requesting to peers, following group instructions, and safety skill in the community.
When: Starting 9/7/2023 thru 9/28/2023, every Thursday from 3:30-6:30 PM PST.
What to Bring: For safety, it is highly recommended you ensure clients please bring a snack and water as well as wear closed-toe shoes and sunblock.

We’ll be diving into nature with crafts, activities, and games that are sure to be fun for everyone. Join your friends and bring the family along for a breath of fresh air in the great outdoors.

Outdoor ABA is a program for clients of all ages and abilities to come to meet us outdoors to socialize, play, and engage in thematic curriculum that promotes learning and new experiences. Clients must attend with a Supervisor or Behavior Interventionist and parents do not need to stay, unless required by the funding source or as deemed clinically necessary by your Supervisor. Clients should bring a snack.
Outdoor ABA provides a new opportunity for your client to:
- Get outside!!
- Socialize with peers
- Generalize mastered skills
- Experience peer modeling from typical peer models!!
- Be exposed to novel stimuli to keep them engaged in their ABA therapy (motivation is everything)
- Build rapport with newer BI’s by pairing them with a fun experience at ACES
- Get extra support from various professionals who attend Outdoor ABA events
**Please note, if your child already attends a group in the clinic on Saturdays, your supervisor must still enroll your child for the Outdoor ABA event in order to attend.
This event is dependent on office location, so please check with your Supervisor to confirm if this event is taking place in your region.

**Clients are encouraged to bring their own scooters, bicycles, ride-on cars, and anything with wheels you’d like to roll around on for this fun Saturday event! Please, also bring client safety equipment including helmets, pads, etc.
