Event Details

Enrollment for Part 1 of Telehealth Adolescent Health Series (AHS) is now open!

The series will begin with a required parent meeting on Tuesday April 4th, 2023. The 10-weeks of series will then continue from April 4th and continue every Tuesday through May 23nd from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. PST.  Adolescent Health Series is designed to educate students with autism and related disabilities on relationships, their changing bodies, cyber safety, health, and nutrition.

The first session (April 4th) will be an informational session for parents where we will review the curriculum and lesson plan for the series. Below are topics that we will be discussing for the other sessions:

  • Types of relationships (family, friend, acquaintance, strangers)
  • Making and keeping friends
  • Styles of communication
  • Public vs. private behaviors
  • And much more!

Location: Irvine Clinic (Upstairs Conference Room)               Ages: 11-18

**Parent training or direct hours can be utilized for this series.
