Playing team sports is an opportunity that can be difficult for our clients so ACES Santa Rosa is putting together another month-long focused group featuring Volleyball & Badminton! This group will be held at Finley Community Park in Santa Rosa from 3:30-6:30pm every Wednesday in September. Sessions will have the structure similar to regular sport practices and games to help your child learn appropriate expectations and behaviors and how to participate appropriately during drills while learning some basic skills for both Volleyball & Badminton. Specific learning opportunities will include attending, sportsmanship, taking turns, waiting, following multi-step instructions, cleaning up, friendship seeking, small talk, and as well as some 1:1 time with their own interventionist for individual learning opportunities!

If your child is targeting any of the above skills and would like to enroll in this fun opportunity, please contact your supervisor to see if your child is eligible for the group.

Ages: 5– 13 years will be considered. Peer access to similar ages and functioning levels will be attempted but is based on enrollment.

Enrollment deadline is August 31, 2019. Please contact your supervisor immediately to secure a spot and staff!

Sessions will be 9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25 each from 3:30pm-6:30pm. Groups will meet at the volleyball courts next to the playground behind the Finley Community Center.
