Event Details

This hands-on class teaches students the components of dessert-making, from the role of different ingredients to safety in the kitchen. No experience needed! Each week we will make multiple desserts-including cookies, brownies, donuts, and more. Students will get the opportunity to try their dessert at the end of class. Please be aware that some recipes may contain allergens, but all recipes are peanut free; please provide a list of allergens when signing up to see if ingredients can be substituted.

Cost: $5 per person

Ages: 5-18, siblings welcomed

When: Every Monday in August (5, 12, 19, 26)

Time: 3:00  – 6:00 p.m.

Where: City of Industry Office

Please keep in the mind the following pre-requisites will be required for approval:

  • Follow 2 step directions
  • Attend to group instructions with minimal assistance from BI
  • Minimal maladaptive behaviors
  • Sits and attends for 10 or more minutes in a small or large group setting (e.g. circle time, group work, etc.)
