🍪Our Cookie Decorating Class offers a sensory-friendly, interactive experience that helps children develop essential life skills through engaging Cookie decorating-time activities with peers. This supportive, small-group setting is led by our skilled team and focuses on:
Social Interaction: Working collaboratively with peers, sharing tasks, and engaging in positive conversations during the decorating process.
Following Directions: Practicing step-by-step instruction following.
Waiting and Turn-Taking: Cultivating patience and cooperative behavior by taking turns during decorating activities, helping children thrive in group settings.
Self-Advocacy: Empowering children to express preferences and make choices, such as selecting design.
Emotional Regulation: Supporting children in using coping strategies to manage excitement or frustration in a relaxed, social environment.
Daily Living Skills: Practicing practical skills like using utensils, and practicing table manners to encourage self-sufficiency.
