Open ACES: Friendsgiving – Gather, Play, and Give Thanks! 🦃🍂

There’s so much to be thankful for—especially our amazing ACES friends and family! Join us for a heartwarming Friendsgiving celebration filled with fun, friendship, and festive activities. This event is designed to help our learners practice mealtime routines, social skills, and communication in a joyful, supportive setting. From sharing snacks and expressing gratitude to playing games and working together, this celebration is all about connection, kindness, and community!

• 🥧 Mealtime & Social Skills – Practice sharing, waiting turns, and using polite table manners

• 💬 Communication & Expression – Express gratitude, make conversation, and share what you’re thankful for

• 🎯 Independence & Life Skills – Help set up, serve snacks, and clean up with peers and staff

• 🧡 Friendship & Teamwork – Build connections through group games, collaboration, and positive interactions

• 🎈 Festive Fun – Enjoy Thanksgiving-themed crafts, games, and activities that celebrate gratitude and togetherness
