ACES in Community: Mini Golf Adventure
Event Details

Join us for a fun-filled Mini Golf Outing, designed to help individuals practice real-world social and communication skills in a supportive community setting! This event encourages participants to apply skills in a natural environment while enjoying a round of mini golf with peers.

🏌️ Key Skill Areas:

  • Turn-Taking & Waiting – Practicing patience and sharing the course with others

  • Following Rules & Instructions – Understanding game rules and group expectations.

  • Conversational Skills – Engaging in friendly interactions, making comments, and asking questions.

  • Flexible Thinking – Handling unexpected challenges, like a tricky hole or a missed shot.

  • Money Skills & Independence – Practicing paying for admission and ordering a snack if applicable.

Additional Cost: $10-15

With guidance from supportive staff, participants will work on increasing independence, confidence, and social engagement while having a blast on the course!

Additional Details: Meet up and pick up at the ACES clinic. Cost is $11 per person.

📢 Reminders: Supervision is required, and all event time counts toward your child’s prescribed hours. Caregivers are responsible for any entry or program fees associated with their child’s therapist. Caregiver participation is required—siblings and friends are welcome to join!
