Adolescent Health Series is designed to educate students with autism and related disabilities on relationships, their changing bodies, cyber safety, health, and nutrition.

The series will begin with a required parent meeting on Wednesday June 12, 2024. The first session is an informational session for parents to introduce and review the curriculum, and lesson plan for the series.

Below are some of the topics that will be discussed during Part 1 of Adolescent Health Series:

• Types of relationships (family, friend, acquaintance, strangers)

• Making and keeping friends

• Styles of communication

• Public vs. private behaviors

• And much more!

*Parent training or direct hours can be utilized for this series.
