Microsoft Teams Telehealth Sessions

ACES is excited to partner with MakerKids to host a virtual Focused Group for clients interested in Robotics! In this 6 week series, clients will design, plan, program and build electronic inventions while using a virtual robotics controller! Clients will get to bring their ideas t life while learning more about how things around them work. ACES clients who participate can give and receive feedback about projects as they work to improve their projects and help their peers. Skills Learned: Resilience, Confidence, Internet Safety, Logic, Game Design, Beta-Testing

• Meet ACES Focused Group Pre-Requisites

• Can follow multi-step instructions on the computer

• Sits at computer for at least 50 minutes without attempts to leave

• Has basic computer skills (e.g. how to simultaneously use a mouse with one hand while navigating with the WASD keys with the other, how to identify keys and and buttons by reading what they say, etc.)

Deadline to enroll: Tuesday – January 10, 2024 Cost: if less than 5 kids enroll we will charge $30/class/child ($180 USD total per 6 week session), if 5 or more kids register then we will reduce this to $25/class/child ($150 USD total per 6 week session). We will cap each classroom to 5 kids. (Payment link will be provided to Supervisor upon client enrollment)
