Earlier this year, Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton released her broad plan to help people of all ages and their families who are impacted by autism.

Secretary Clinton says she will help the 1 in 68 Americans with autism by doing the following:

  1. Launch a national early screening campaign
  2. Ensure health insurance coverage for autism services
  3. Invest in research to deepen our understanding of autism
  4. Increase employment opportunities for those with autism

As an organization that has been elevating the standards in the treatment of autism for twenty years, ACES applauds all candidates committed to addressing the critical issues impacting our community. This is a national (and international) issue that affects us all.

ACES will continue to spotlight candidate plans for autism as they become available.

See Hillary Clinton's Plan to Support Children, Youth, and Adults Living with Autism and their Families on her website.

We applaud any candidate that brings attention to autism and the needs of our communities. ACES does not endorse any political party and is sharing this story in an effort to highlight autism awareness on a national level. We encourage everyone to get involved to ensure the needs of those with Autism Spectrum Disorder are addressed.
