Siblings' Questions About Autism

TABLA DE CONTENIDO

Comparte con otros

Many questions are asked about autism. Sometimes your child will bring those to you and sometimes your child's peers or even other adults will approach them. Either situation can be tough for siblings. First, they see how much you are managing and may not want to ask too much. However, when you give information, and your validation, you are preparing your child to confidently answer questions they receive from others.

What Can You Do with Siblings This Month?

  1. Find out what your child's current understanding is about autism
  2. Help your child to become fluent in your family's definition of autism and related behaviors by choosing key phrases.
