Twenty years ago ACES set out to serve individuals with autism in San Diego, California. Since that time we have grown across the western half of the United and Hawaii with more offices on the way; enabling thousands of professionals and paraprofessionals to live their passion of helping others. Our dedicated team of therapists touch the lives of thousands of families each day, and we have been privileged to serve nearly 20,000 individuals over the last 20 years.Clinically, we continue our longstanding history of raising the bar in our field with new trainings for therapists and new programs for clients. All ACES clinical staff receive in-house Registered Behavior Technician training to pair with their existing credentials. Our programs now include more than 20 different social and community events; ranging from our Buddies and Learning Center programs for toddlers and young children to our Seeds, Sprouts, Pathways, Gateways programs for school aged children to young adults. We are leveraging technology where possible and are excited to roll out a digital databook that will house all client data; increasing efficiency and maximizing our time with clients.

Now is the right time to pause and reflect on where we have come and where we are yet to go. At ACES, we are so grateful to be able to do what we do every day. Our Platinum Anniversary will be a celebration and recognition of everyone in the ACES family - the staff who have contributed so much to so many, those with autism who work hard every day to achieve their goals, and the families who tirelessly support their loved ones day in and out.Throughout the year we have planned many specials events in all of our clinics across the country to celebrate our 20 years. The events will be for our staff, parents, and clients. We will be sharing details about these celebrations in future blog posts.ACES accomplishments over the years are impressive and we will keep going to help as many individuals with autism as possible. So let’s celebrate not just the last 20 years, but all that is yet to come!
